The average eating time can be 6 hours for eating purposes and 8 hours for chewing cud.
Contrary to many other animals, these animals can definitely see colors. The average life of a cow can be 25 years. Age can be determined by checking the rings on the horns of a cow, if it has any horns that is. On an average, if a cow has two milking, it can give about 10 gallons of milk per day. Also, no 2 cows would ever have same Holstein’s spots. Finally, it nearly resembles humans in the number of bones in its skeleton; 207. That is just one bone extra when compared to human beings.
